As of late, I came across a post referring to AI actors. Three points were concerned with linear and exponential acceleration of AI co-workers. Moore’s Law, its contention that the number of transistors on a motherboard or microprocessor doubles every two years drives market indexes. Undercutting the pace of acceleration is the suspicion that this is a bubble.

“What they wanted was intelligence,” what we got was organization.

Maintaining the noble lie, concerning the pace of techno-acceleration, the possibility of an AI actor, the dispersion of Large Language Models (LLM’s) and a collective API that as a vector of the mind, will act as administering itself is a means of control.

The current scheme is one of tokenization, a time-sharing system in which computing power is analagous to the BYOB Italian restaurant in Echo Park. It its now, “bring your own compute.” Still, services like Deep Mind/ChatGPT are rooted in the API as a third-party measure.

A colleague noted that what is far more likely, iff AGI is achieved, is an advanced super-intelligence (ASI) taking control and administering transport systems, and the financial market.
