[49] εισ εμου μυριοι, εαν αριστοσ ηι.

“If the fates of the ‘I’/’the self,” then the best is first.”

[50] ουκ εμου αλλα του λογου ακουσαντaσ ομολογειν σοφον εστιν εν παντα ειναι.

“Do not listen to the ‘I’ but of the word (you) listen to the object of love in everything that is.”

[51] Παλιντονοσ αρμονιν οκωσπερ τοξον και λυρησ.

“The tensions as counterpoint – bow and arrow.”
